Tyra Banks announced on the Ellen DeGeneres Show that she’s launching a brand new makeover website Typef.com that will focus on women’s individuality. The site will allow users to create an account and get style tips based on her specific body type.
“With a lot of magazines, it tells you exactly what you’re supposed to look like and if you don’t look like this…you’re a loser, you’re not good enough,” Tyra said, whose had her own share of size issues in the modeling industry.
“What TypeF does is it says, ‘You are beautiful and you are you…Women in our individuality is what is beautiful.’ The site is all about personalization. If you go on and you log in…and say, ‘I have a short, blonde pixie cut, I have my piercing blue eyes, I have an oval-shaped face, I am 5′ 8″…’ You type all of this stuff in and when you continue to come back to the site, we deliver stuff for you, exactly for your type,” Tyra said, pictured filming Extra at the L.A. Grove on Wednesday.
