Itunes Clean Up

iTunes Clean Up - find out exactly how to fix an iTunes library by adding missing artwork, deleting duplicates and fixing misspelled song names.

Sometimes iTunes will have problems. This could be missing album artwork, duplicate songs or wrongly named song titles. This all makes the listening experience much more difficult as trying to find songs can take a lot longer than they should.

About a month ago I decided to do an iTunes Clean Up. The whole process was taking a very long time so I thought I would look online for a solution. After looking for quite a while I found Tidy Songs.

I thought I would try out the Free Tidy Songs Download and see what it was like. I was very impressed with the program at first glance and was even more impressed when I actually started using it! Within just a few minutes all of my song names were sorted out and all of the tracks that were misspelled had the correct names. The album artwork that was missing was also added and the duplicates were deleted. Tidy Songs worked great!

If you need to do an iTunes Clean Up then Tidy Songs is by far the best program for the job. I have saved so much time and effort by just pressing a few buttons. It has made the whole listening experience a joy and now I can find whatever I am after in just a few seconds. I would defiantly recommend this product to anyone with a large iTunes library.

She Dumped Me – 5 Things Not To Do Now

You just broke up with your girlfriend or wife, right? In fact, you have to admit to yourself, she dumped me. At the moment, you are angry, hurt and at a loss. What happened to the two of you? You thought things were going so well. And so they were. At first. But maybe you missed the little signs that your girlfriend was changing. Her needs evolved, but you did not. What are you going to do now?

Let a week or two slip by. You broke up, you are single again, but you are not a bad person. Unbelievable as it may sound right now, you will recover. You will love again. You will get your ex back, or you will love someone else.

Your life will go on. Trust me. I have been through this also. The words "she dumped me" keep pounding away in your head, but you are still the same person you were before. That feeling of desperation will pass. Really.

The good news is, many breakups can be fixed. They are not permanent. When the pain and anger have lessened a bit, take some time to think. Do you still love your former girlfriend or wife? Really and truly? Great! Then you can set about to get your ex back. You want to make it as easy and smooth as possible.

Do not put up additional roadblocks and emotional baggage on the path to your renewed relationship. So here are 5 things not to do, in the highly charged period just before and after the breakup.

First, no matter the reason for the breakup, even if she was cheating on you, do not throw a fit and dump or destroy her clothes or other stuff she left at your place. That would show a real lack of class. Instead, pack everything up in boxes and drop it at her new place, her parents' house, or her friend's home. Or ship it to her. Collect.

She will get the point that you want to be over and done with her (for now), but you still treat her stuff, and by extension, her, with respect. She will remember that, and it will pay dividends for you later. What if she threw out or broke your stuff? You have a right to be angry, but do the right thing with her stuff anyway. It is called, taking the high road, and it always pays off in the long run.

Second, as the days and weeks go by after the separation, do not try to argue or fight with her to change her mind, or talk her out of the split. She made her decision, now you both have to live with it. Of course, it does not mean that she will never change her mind again. Not at all. But this is how she feels right now, and you have to accept that and go forward.

Third, You argued with her anyway, and she did not change her mind and take you back. She dumped me, you are thinking. Now she has to take you back to erase that big black blot on your heart. So you start to beg and plead. Wrong move. Keep a little of your self-respect, no matter how much you love her. Remember, even now she wants you to be strong and show some character. Besides, it rarely works.

Fourth, do not date her female friends, or anyone else for that matter. If your ultimate goal is to get my ex back, making her jealous this way usually does not work, and may even backfire on you. If you date her friends, this is likely to make her mad. She is sure to call up the friend and badmouth you, carefully listing all your faults.

However, you can flirt a little! Yes, indeed, you can be friendly and pleasant to your mutual friends, and show some interest in them, without actually going out on a date. Your ex will have difficulty complaining about this. You are both free and single now, so you can do as you like. Up to a point, naturally.

Your ex no doubt knows you well by now. She knows how many girls you dated before the two of you hooked up, and what type of girl you are attracted to. So do not flirt with the dumb blonde, no matter how gorgeous she is. Do not take your ex wife to the restaurant where every waitress knows your name. This will turn her off.

Go somewhere else. And do not use those 2-for-one or discount coupons while you are with her. It makes her feel cheap, like you think she is not worth the full price.

Fifth, Maybe part of the reason you broke up was because you turned into a slob, gained weight or did not do your share of the housework (sharing the housework is really important to a woman). Regardless, now is the time to take yourself in hand. From now on, always be neat, clean, well-groomed and well-dressed, even if you are just going out to the corner store. You never know who you will meet.

Get regular exercise, lose some weight, buy some new clothes and give the old ones to the thrift shop. If you are lonely, get a dog. Dogs are good company, and good conversation starters when you are out in public.

Now that we have covered what not to do, you are ready to move on. You say, I want to get my ex back, so fill your heart with love. Now is the time to take positive action toward this goal.

Worlds Greatest Wildlife Spectacle

THE WILDEBEEST MIGRATION.

The endless plains of East Africa are the setting for the world's greatest wildlife spectacle - the 1.5 million animal ungulate (wildebeest) migration. From the vast Serengeti plains to the champagne colored hills of Kenya's Masai Mara over 1.4 million wildebeest and 200,000 zebra and gazelle, relentlessly tracked by Africa's great predators, migrate in a clockwise fashion over 1,800 miles each year in search of rain ripened grass.

There is no real beginning or end to a wildebeest's journey. Its life is an endless pilgrimage, a constant search for food and water. The only beginning is at the moment of birth. An estimated 400,000 wildebeest calves are born during a six week period early each year - usually between late January and mid-March.

As of September 1, 2008: The Wildebeest herds are currently in the northern areas of Tanzania's Serengeti National Park and in Kenya's Masai Mara Reserve. Wildebeest have been crossing the Mara River daily. Guests staying at the Governor's Camps in the Mara and at Migration Camp in the Serengeti have been seeing hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebra daily.

As of November 1, 2008: October continued a trend of cool mornings and warm days in Kenya's Masai Mara. The migrating herds of wildebeest and zebra have grazed the Mara grasses right down. The northern and central areas of the Serengeti have received some very heavy rain showers and the herds have followed their noses in search of lush, green grass. The end of the month was marked by large river crossings as wildebeest and zebra left the Mara on their long trek down south. The herds now stretch from Lobo through the Tagora plains area to central Seronera area and down to Naabi Hill. It is common to receive patches of wet weather in the Serengeti towards the end of the dry season (in October), so the rain may just be this and not an early onset of the short rains. If this is the case, it will dry out rapidly and the wildebeest will head back north until they feel the real rains start.

As of January 1, 2009: The mega-herd spent the holidays on the Ndutu plains however, due to lack of rain, have traveled north and west to the longer grass plains around Kusini and Naabi Hill on the border between the Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. When the rains return the nutrient rich short grass will green up rapidly and the herds will return southeast to the Ngorongoro Conservation area for calving.

As of March 1, 2009: As of late February, the lack of good rains has forced the migration to move towards the Maswa Game Reserve border. With the coming of the long rains we expect the herds to return to the Ndutu area and complete calving.

As of May 1, 2009: As of late April, heavy rains have returned to the Serengeti and the wildebeest have made their way back to the Ndutu, Gol and southern Loliondo. The Masai have been watering their cattle in this area and it is hoped that the widespread rains will allow the Masai to return to their more permanent homesteads allowing the wildlife to fully relax.

As of July 1, 2009: As of early July our friends at Nomad report that the bulk of the migration is still in Tanzania - along the western corridor / Musabi areas all the way to Grumeti. Large groups of wildebeest are also up in Lobo area. We would expect the herds to remain spread out until it dries out further (there is still a good amount of green grass and reliable water for the wildebeest and zebras).

As of August 1, 2009: The wildebeest have entered the Mara! The northern Serengeti national park personnel have reliably informed us that the migrating herds have taken two wings – one heading north from Grumeti area to the west, while an eastern wing is the one now moving into the Mara.

As of October 1, 2009: The wildebeest are scattered throughout Tanzania's western corridor, northern Serengeti and Kenya's Masai Mara. Travelers in both Kenya and Tanzania have been witnessing wildebeest crossing the Mara River!

As of January 1, 2010: The wildebeest have moved from the central Serengeti and are now concentrated in the Ndutu area. They are feeding on the new grass in preparation for calving.

Top 5 Tips To Broaden Your Audience For Your Photographs

Great photographs are the intersection of three important factors – a great photographic eye, a great photographic situation and a substantial audience to view and appreciate the result. The old days where people anxiously awaited proofs, visited conventional photo galleries or requested and kept books from stock agencies are history. Today there are countless web sites showcasing the artistic craft of working photographers. These sites are often directly coupled with social media sites or employ technologies like Web 2.0 that allow real, two way communications between audience and artist. In order to get broad exposure of your work, you really need to make some of your best work viewable online. There are many good online vehicles that can showcase photographs. You can create an online gallery and connect it to your website or blog. Another option is to display your work employing dedicated photo-sharing sites like Flickr, Google Albums or SmugMug or you can create display albums using popular social networks like Facebook.

Tip #1 Blog and Show Off Your Expertise

Most working photographers already have their own website, but if you really want to make the leap and create an online following, add a blog to your website. While your website displays information about yourself, your business and your products, it typically remains relatively constant. Your blog, on the other hand, contains a wealth of information that continually changes and grows and is actually the focal point of your "social media" strategy. You can blog about any number of things ranging from simple tips and tricks to a narrative of an interesting and successful photo shoot. You might review interesting new tools or products or perhaps even include comments from some of your customers relating their views of the photographic experience. Let your imagination go, but you will be surprised how easy it is to come up with truly compelling and interesting content.

Tip #2 Create a Facebook FanPage…It Is Free and Easy

With over 400 million members, Facebook is a great way to show off your work and subtly advertise your skills. You can create a Facebook "Fan Page," name it and invite others to join. Run a simple contest, post images of your work, talk about your product and maybe even offer occasional specials. Most importantly, offer some simple, yet valuable advice to your target market. Give people a reason to keep coming back and they will become your social network "word of mouth."

Tip #3 Heard of Google Knol…Give It A Try

Google Knol is an information sharing site (sort of a viral Wikipedia) that allows you to share your unique expertise and knowledge…and build a personal following. You create a Knol through any Google account. Since you are a photographer, make sure to show off your best photographs and include links to the other social sites you are on. Once you have informational articles written for your blog, you can change them up a bit and repurpose them as Knols.

Tip #4 Expand Your Reach With Be A Photo Sharing Site

Sites like Flickr are not only a great place for showcasing your photos, they are also a great way to store and reference collections of photographs from other web locations. For example, you can use creative tools like FlickrSlideShow generator to arrange multiple images into a slideshow. Once the show is created, copy the supplied HTML and add it to your blog, Facebook Fan Page or use Twitter to post a link. You can also use Flickr to get great feedback on your work. The network is large and people love to give feedback. If you are worried about copyright they have a great tool PicMarkr which allows you to create a custom watermark and place it on your Flickr images as well as exercise full control over printing and downloads. Not to be outdone, SmugMug, Zenfolio, and Photobucket are other sites that offer similar capabilities. H&H, like many professional labs, also offers studio branded image sharing and output services using our HHImageHost platform. There are lots of powerful options, but an on-line photo sharing and output site will definitely allow you to greatly expand your customer reach.

Tip #5 Twitter is a Powerful Tool To Awaken Your Audience

Twitter is a powerful publicity tool but is often misunderstood. When you have new content posted to your blog, photo sharing site or you own site, use Twitter as a pointer to your new content by publishing a few tweets! Remember to ask for feedback. You can us search.twitter.com with an applicable keyword such as "wedding photographer." You can even constrain the search to a zip code or search within a certain mile radius. Once you search collects the applicable audience, tweet them with a link to your content! You will have to brief as Twitter has a message limit of only 140 characters. You probably want to use a URL shortening service such as Bit.ly or TinyUrl for your link to avoid using up too much of the message limit. Twitter doesn't directly support any attachments, but as usual, a number of third-party services have sprung up to fill the void, although mostly for consumers without personal web sites or blogs. The list expands daily but you might want to check some of them out. Look at Mobypicture, Pikchur, Posterous, Twitpic and Tweetphoto.

As the web moves toward more and more two-way conversation, Twitter is clearly becoming one of the most important ways for people to highlight interesting content. Even though Twitter has a 140 character limit, as the saying goes, a good picture is worth well more than a thousand words!

The options for social media marketing in photography are endless. Used correctly, social media sites can represent powerful new marketing tools for photographers, allowing images and compelling content to be broadcast to huge networks of potential customers. But remember, social networks are virtual versions of crowded town squares, where catchy images and compelling content are required to grab the attention of the entire crowd. It may seem like a lot of work, but effective use of social media is a lot like "the miracle of compound interest," your following and reputation will continue to grow as time goes on!
